Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best on the market
If you don't know the basics this is the best place to start and even if you do I'm sure there is something you've forgot. That's the reason i bought it and i have no regrets. Not only are there words but pics showing exactly what you should be looking for. Not to mention Vizzard is the one of the best authors when it comes to chevy's period.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Outdated but informative
The information inside is a little outdated compared to some of the literature out there. However, it is still a really good resource for the basics of how to rebuild the smallblock and what the process is all about. The pictures are a big help.

Once he pointed out what items I might need for a decent engine; this book started to make sense.

This book, for me, is informational. It gives some detail(s) that is needed, although sometimes not enough. I have been able to gather the information ... Read More
