Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - 240Z Owner Likes What He Found
This book is great if you have an early Z car and need some pointers on how to restore/refresh your Z. A good mechanic would figure a lot of this out by using the factory repair manual, however there are tips and tricks here that the author gives you based on his hands-on tear down and rebuild that will save you time, money and effort in your pursuit of the perfect Z car. Some of the info is outdated but that's to be expected with anything in print. Updates on his info can always be found with a ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good, but old photos
This book looks good and has a lot of information, but many of the photos are old and difficult to see what is being described.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - very good strong book
The book is very helpfull even if you have alot of experience with Z cars. Thorough and informative, an easy read.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Restoring a Zed - Not as complicated as it seems
Having a Z I thought this book to be quite a good read and buy. I did however find some of the techniques used in it to be out of date and the intro to be rather long winded before getting to the point. If however you are not that mechanically minded this book is a good reference material for you to use in restoring your zed. If like myself you are modifying the car as you go, the book has only some useful points and makes a good edition to your zed library.

This book is great, it takes you through almost all of the steps that you need to completely restore your car, but on a lot of things it merely mentions them and doesn't really tell you a lot about what your supposed to do. What I did was I bought this book and a haynes automotive repair manual(or Chilton's) and I used that for the more technical stuff. This book has 20-30 pages of exploded views of various areas on the cars and also has a list of retailers that sell parts and/or services for the ... Read More
