Software : Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac Home & Student EditionIn association with Amazon.comRating:  - Easy to Use, I like itBasically like using the same product from PC. The Mac iWork programs (eg. Pages, Numbers) are not compatible in many instances (files cannot be uploaded as gmail attachments, for example) so I like this format. Rating: - works wellworks well, seamlessly. I am finally able to open excel and word docs. For home use, I don't think any of the more expensive versions are needed. Rating:  - FrustratedFrom the information provided we did not realize we would need a DVD drive. Our machine has a CD rom, but the program would not load. So in addition to the cost of the program we had to spend money on a piece of hardware. Rating: - Office 2008I recently upgraded to Office 2008 for Mac Home & Student Edition. I have used Excel and Word since the beginning and have never been disappointed. The changes to the tool bars are taking a little time to get used to, but am pleased with the product. Would buy it again. Rating:  - Office 2008 for MacIf I had not had the upgrade for $10 I would be hacked. The 2008 version starts much slower than the previous version of office. Powerpoint can not function with slides involving quicktime videos without crashing the program. I am reverting back to the 2004 version. It is stable and starts 3 times faster. I don't see any real advantage to the new version. |
