Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - no problems
i like this product, i havent had any problems with it. i just switched to a mac from a pc and i didnt have any issues using it or figuring it out. Sometimes when you use it it takes a few seconds to get opened up but other than that it does the job. i mostly use it for word docs and powerpoint. i just use it for myself, i dont usually send files to others so the conversion issue isnt a problem for me for the most part.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Reasonable Software
This is a good addition to my MAC. It is necessary to go through a learning curve to become acustom to the various differences between the Windows and MAC versions. There should be more information in the package as to ome of the differences.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Better than expected, meets my needs
After reading the reviews, I had much lower expectations when I purchased this product, but I haven't been disappointed yet! I'm in grad school for an MIS degree and haven't had a need yet that I haven't been able to meet -- with the exception of Access, which isn't a part of the package. I still use my PC as well, so I use it when I need to do something faster and can't spend time searching for a function, as well as when I need to use Access.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great improvement
As a very basic user, and consequently after some hesitation about whether or not I needed to upgrade, I recently bought the 2008 version for Mac Home and Student. What a big improvement and a generally much more friendly interface! The new toolbox feature in particular captures everything in one feature.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Gets the job done
I purchased Office 2008 because my Mac didn't come with any sort of functional word processing. I was skeptical because of the other reviews, and I have only used Word to create and send documents - for which it has worked just fine. The only thing is that I have to save the document in ".doc Compatibility Mode" to email it, which is very easy though slightly annoying.
