I was saving about 5 dollars. I have a GE Profile refrigerator, about 4 years old. This filter does not work. No water flow at all. I contactacted filtersfast.com and they refunded product plus shipping without question. I reordered a GE-MWF filter immediately. I highly recommend buying through filtersfast.com. Just don't order a Brita filter as a replacement. I suspect some GE refrigerators are different and the Brita works. There are a few postings on Amazon where others were having the same problem as I was having. Rating:  - Brita does it betterThe Brita filter company has a good reputation. This filter lives up to that reputation. This is the first time I bought the Brita filter instead of the GE OEM filter. I wanted to try the Brita filter for two reasons - the reputation Brita has and because it was less expensive than the GE OEM filter. I have not been disappointed. The next time I'll buy the multi-pack and save a little more. Rating: - filter meets expectationsThis filter meets expectations, so far no complaints. It is not GE brand but it saved me a couple of dollars, and gets the job done. The only difference that I notice is the label instead of GE is Brita and works perfect. Rating: - Great FilterGreat replacement filter. Easy install right out of box, remember to fill with water prior to installation. Takes a bit for flow to get back to normal. Rating: - GE Refrigerator filter replacementBought a replacement filter for my daughter's GE refrigerator. This Brita Replacement for GE MWF/GWF Filter (GERF-100) looks to me as equal to the original but at half the price! |
