His music gives me goose bumps and makes me melt. He is grammy material!! Rating: - Wonderful!I'm another who first heard of Paul Potts on YouTube. His story was so heartwarming that I found myself questioning whether my usually good ear was distorted by the happiness I felt watching him fulfil his dream. I picked up the CD over the holidays and found myself rooting for him to hit every note - afraid that I had simply fallen for the hype. I'm embarassed to say that now, because this CD is amazing! This man's voice is exquisite. Rating: - Jan's ReviewI ordinarily do not care for opera but this Paul Potts is absolutely the best. I saw his humble beginnings and finally he is on top, his voice is undeniably one of the finest. Right up there with all the opera greats. Rating:  - Very talented artistI was a little sceptical at first with this whole "pop idol" formula behind this artist but I must say that this guy has got talent and the cd is very good. It has some nice variety of songs including a great song from Phantom of the opera. Rating: - Great, but where is the Opera?I was not expecting much from this hastily-produced album. But I was pleasantly surprised. Paul's voice is even better than on my little PC speakers with which I heard the YouTube videos. My only complaint is that I was looking forward to some *real* opera (Carmen, La Traviata, Figaro, etc.), not some modern semi-opera pieces and popular music. But I still enjoy the album. I hope Paul produces a real opera album soon. I will certainly buy it. |
