There was a "war" between them and their two younger siblings, as to whose turn it was to use them next! Needless to say, these are the only things on my 2 younger kids Christmas list! You need good snow, and a fairly nice hill...and then...LOOK OUT! I HIGHLY recommend this product, for kids ages 8 and up. Rating: - What a sweet deal!I received the sno-jack scooters a few weeks back and WOW, the scooter is much larger than I had anticipated - It really is like a snowboard with steering and a handle. Top quality construction and heavy duty. I bought the scooters as gifts for my nieces and nephews - and, honestly, I wanted to reconsider that after seeing the scooter in person. I wanted one! It is July in Maine, so I cannot attest to how it works. One cautionary note for people considering purchasing this for smaller kids - the brake system has a pointed steel "rudder" on the bottom of the board. That and the size and weight of the board make this unsuitable for smaller kids. I think the recommended age for use begins at 7 years of age - I'd say 8 is about right. Rating:  - Fast and furiousArrived just in time for the snow, my grandson who is 9 had loads of fun, however,it requires the user to have good balancing skills, like a skateboard. I would have given it a 5 star but it could have been faster had the plastic footing been a little thicker to eliminate the base from warping up in the middle Rating: - neat idea I got this for my daughter awhile ago, but due to no snow, I had to wait to actually see if it worked.
