Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - A good idea - but it could use improvements
My original Toro blower's bag's zipper broke - so I went to a local hardware store to buy a new bag. The store I went to did not have any of "my" Toro replacement bags, so I saw this interesting "universal leaf collector" - by Toro. I immediately liked the idea of it when I saw it, but here are my main complaints I have after using this product for a while: 1. The hose likes to come flying out where it goes into the white bag (epecially when I have the blower on high); 2. The hose is really not all that long so I am almost constantly dragging around the (what should really be on wheels or casters) container which the white bag attaches to - now with my old, smaller bag, I only had to worry about dragging the electric cord (you have 2 things to drag around now); 3. The white bag part attaches to the not-included container via drawstrings that must be secured tightly (or the bag can fly off the container); 4. The bag is fitted over the container and so the leaves are mostly flying correctly into the container - however some of the leaves are also finding their way to the outside of the container - between the bag and the container (annoying) - so when it is time to remove the bag from the container (to empty it) there is plenty to clean up after because all of this "extra" leaf material falls to the ground + there is a fair amount of dust (so you might want to wear a mask);
5. The adapter that connects the hose to the blower does not fit as well as the old bag I had but compared to the above issues it is a minor problem.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - not universal
Maybe this works with a Toro blower and the Toro spring bucket, but with my Craftsman blower and normal plastic (and/or metal) garbage can it fails totally. I spent about an hour today trying to keep all the various parts together and ended up covered in leaf dust, with almost nothing in the garbage can. I really wanted this to work because I hate to empty the leaf bag - so much dust! I could not get the bag to stay on a garbage can, except for briefly once, and then the bag came off of the hose. The attachment to the blower is only slightly better than to the can or hose.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not for Gas Blower Vacs
I did not read the product description close enough when purchasing this leaf collector system. Or maybe I did, but figured that I could make it work for my gas blower vac. Overall, this product is well constructed. I was able to modify it to fit my gas blower vac, but still had problems with the hose getting clogger. More hassle than it was worth.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - If you have leaves to clean you know you need this
I bought this the second year of living in my house. The first year I struggled with leaf clean up from the 3 mature maple trees that surround my house. After buying this "collector" the process was greatly simplified. Attaching it to the bin is really easy and it does not get clogged.
The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that the "universal adapter" did not seem all that universal. My Toro leafblower was not too happy to attach to it, but it is manageable and still worth it.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Good idea, but no workee
This is a great idea, but....
The bag part won't stay attached to the garbage can no matter how hard i tighten the cord (which probably should be thicker). And when i finally got the bag to stay attached for a little while, then the hose blew out of the middle of the canvas bag that is attached to the garbage can.

So all in all i like the idea but i'm going to return it to Amazon after calling Toro to ask if they have any fixes for the two problems.
