Could not measure the lenght beforehand but doubt it was anywhere near the 100 feet as indicated on the label. Closer to @ 60 or 70 feet. Rating: - Not 100% copperI received this shipment after a whole week of delay. The only thing that matters in a speaker wire is the resistance. I do not like the fact that one of the wires is not made of copper, but nickel or some other metal. I have not yet to connected the speakers up and hope it will be good. I wish Amazon was more forthright and detailed in the product description. I would not buy wires from Amazon again. I ordered several banana connectors from monoprice and they are gold plated and very affordable as well. Highly recommend monoprice! Rating:  - As representedPerformed as expected. Noticeable improvement in sound quality from my new Onkyo Home Theater system. Speaker wires supplied by Onkyo appeared to be 18 gauge, perhaps even 20 gauge, too small for this application. This 14 gauge wire has twice the diameter and three times the current carrying capacity when compared to 20 gauge, quite an improvement. Highly recommended. Ran all 100ft of this last evening and was very glad I had. The improvement to my sound was noticeable. Rating: - Excellent itemI ordered 200 feet of this wire for in ceiling speakers. The sound from the speakers is excellent. You have to have good wire for youe speakers to soung good. I searched all over and this is the best price I found. |
