Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - the best available product for the job
This product is the best available for the job. The book is exactly what i wanted and will save me lots of money in the future as i use it to repair my car.
Service such as I received should be available with all web site purchases. Thank you

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - It paid for itself the first time I used it
I recently bought an used 2004 Mini Cooper, the windshield wipers were worn out, the front washer nozzles were out of alignment, and the rear washer nozzle was completely blocked, I changed the wipers, align the front nozzles (with exact measurements) and unblock the rear one, just following the instructions in the manual. I could probably have done it by myself but it's nice knowing what you are doing in advance.

PROS: Lots of information, lots of illustrations, better than Haynes manuals.

CONS: The manual some times refers you to other sections, some of the images are not that clear, and it uses a lot of specialized tools from BMW.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - A good place to start
I recently got the "bible" after 2 years of doing work on my 05 MCS with only the NAM How Tos to guide me. Honestly, they are better than the Bentley, but do not cover as many mods or repairs. Even though the Bentley is comprehensive it still misses a lot, and hence my title: a good place to start, but in the end, "learning by doing" will get the job done, with the occasional check with the NAMers to make sure there's nothing unusual or unexpected when you do the job.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Bentley's Mini Cooper Service Manual
After 20 years of using Bentley manuals I expected a better product. The manual is ok as a basic repair manual, but lacks the in depth details that one would expect from advanced manuals. One thing this manual does that really drives me nuts is how it constantly refers you to other sections of the manual in order to complete one single task. That may be ok if you're sitting down in your living room reading over a repair, but when you're in the garage and you're hands are covered in grease skipping around a service book it's a pain. It comes across as the publisher is too cheap to reprint the information. Aren't repair manuals supposed to simplify the repair process? I do have to say that the electrical portion of the manual is up to the standards that I would expect from Bentley. Fortunately, as weak as this manual is, it is still better than any other Mini Cooper manual I have seen.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Mini Manual an essential.
A must needed resource for anyone with a Mini out of warranty or just want to be informed of what is needed to be done to understand why they charge $$$$.
