Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Why produce a book like this?
This book has lots of nice photographs. That is all. The technical section consists of two pages which state that a waterproof membrane is needed between the roof structure and the soil. There is no information of a technical nature in the book. I wonder why use up the earth's resources for no value. An absolute waste.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The best advert for green roofs yet?
A well researched book of worldwide, high profile green roof case studies, with contributions from many of the leading people in the field. It is nicely laid out with great pictures and text explanation of inspiring examples of green roofs. It shows just what can be done with roof space. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in this subject area.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A book about outstanding roof gardens
This is a beautiful book which contains information concerning roof gardens from around the world. My reason for purchase is that it contains a few pages relating to the garden of my brother-in-law in Vancouver, - Glen Patterson. He is a master gardener who did a lot of research and developed a wonderful roof garden,- the only Canadian garden in the book. The book is very well written and is beautifully illustrated. It contains a lot of information, not only abnout Glen's garden, but about a large number of outstanding gardens in various locations throughout the United States and Europe.
