Visually, this gun is quite ugly and looks nothing like the picture, it just looks like a cheap toy made of hard plastic. Maybe I got a defective rifle, but on mine the way to shoot is you must pull back the spring, then push it forward and keep it there. It packs quite a punch, between 300-400 FPS depending on the type of BB. I highly recommend this gun to anyone starting off in airsoft, you won't find a better one out there for the price.
