NOTHaving been a diehard fan since 1983, this is painful to write. Almost as painful as listening to HC. This is the first time ever I have not bought a Madonna album. I have listened to this entire album and it was torture. I attempted a second listen and found myself barely making it through, using FF and skipping. I am so glad I did not waste my money. Some of the tracks in the middle of the album depart from this and frankly seem a little out of place, but overall it is fantastic. Well, dont believe the hype, this album is just about as dissapointing as american life, though nothing can take that albums place at the top of the crappy album hall of fame. There arent any really memorabale performances here, and it sounds like madge is trying to cater to the urban music crowd and stave off the big 5-0.
