![]() Rating: - really works butGot this for my ancient garage door. It really works! Well as long as you are willing to experiment since unfortunately the instruction is dead wrong!!! Hope they could update the codes included in their paper. However, all you need to do during programming is press and press until you get it working! and voila! Happy that I got this!!! Rating: - Wow! Am I happy! My Genie opener was installed in 1990, and I had dropped the remote for what turned out to be the last time. I had searched and found out that model remote was no longer made. I took a chance and ordered the Clicker. When the Clicker arrived, I found the reference to my unit. Programming was easy and it is an inexpensive replacement. I used it to replace a RAYNOR opener. Rating: - Won't work on some of the old stuffI have an older Sears/Craftsman door opener and the remote control quit working. The universal clicker wouldn't work, so I ended up replacing the receiver. I'm not certain, but it may have been the receiver was so old that it couldn't be keyed to the new clicker. The circuit board was dated 1979, and it could have been the receiver was originally the problem. I was able to use the universal clicker with the new unit. Rating: - Works great with old and new openersIt took me only 15 minutes to program and test the KLIK1U with a new Liftmaster Elite model 3850 opener and a 1988 vintage Sears Craftsman opener (with 9 3-position slider switches). I only wish this transmitter had 3 buttons, since I have a second vintage Sears opener. Browse for similar items by category: |
