WE use it in our Kenmore unit and thus I have nothing to complain about. My only gripe with this and with every other filter....whats with the prices? I cant imagine these cost so much to manufacture. All that aside.....these are 10/10 in my book. They are more expensive at k-mart or sears and Amazons shipping/cost savings/no tax saves a few bucks.... The manufacturer recommends changing every 6 months, but I'm sure it's 'water quality' dependent as my filters last at least 12 months (Fort Collins, CO has great water quality). Rating:  - Used this in a kitchen Aid fridge. Worked great.This filter fits perfectly (even though it says Whirlpool) and works great. Ice and water taste so much better than the water straight out of the tap. Rating: - As orderedEverything went very smoothly and shipping was very prompt.
