I made sure not to carry it around by the top; it seems to be soidered well. I really love it in the garden,the water glissens off of the copper bowl top. A+ Rating: - Very disappointedI bought this birdbath and within 5 minutes of assembling it, it broke! The sautering they had done to connect the stand with the bath was very poorly done and snapped off when I carried it to the yard. Unbelievably poorly made-DON'T buy this product.
