It is so easy to use and so small it fits in a pocket. My previous digital camera was too complicated. I bought the SD870 for my sister, and I have the SD850 myself. When it comes to taking landscape photos, the SD870 is better due to the wide screen, but I definitely prefer the micro shots of the SD850. So I would pick either the SD850 or the SD870 (I tried many others!! They are the best!) according to what the type of photos you take more often.... Both are excellent!
