 Rating:  - Don't Buy from the vendorDon't buy. The vendor never shipped the item yet charged my credit card. No response from Amazon when I asked them about the problem. It allows the wine to breath when you first open it to give it the best taste possible. I would HIGHLY recommend it to wine lovers everywhere. Rating: - excellent aeratorWe did an A/B comparison between this and our funnel/decanter which aerates very well. The Vinturi actually showed more effect on a 2005 Bourdeaux blend than did the funnel/decanter. Plus, the Vinturi is WAY more portable, slipping easily into a purse or messenger bag. Take it to your next restaurant that serves wine, and improve your bottle for pennies. When I got home I blind tested this Aerator with two different wines and with three different people. To my surprise, we all picked the best tasting wine that was used with the Aerator.
