They are great for reading while in bed or in a lounge chair. You can put the top down and play cards, or use a laptop and mouse on it. The mouse glides real smoothly over the white laminate top. The downside of these bed trays is that the legs break easily. I get about one years use out of them then have to throw them away and purchase a new one.
