Product Description:
The Salon stars Vivica A. Fox (Jenny) as the inheritor of a neighborhood beauty salon. Jenny is being forced to sell her shop to the Department of Water and Power (DWP) due to eminent domain. She has not told the other tenants in the salon and is trying to build a case to save the shop. The DWP is represented by a hot shot attorney (Darrin Dewitt Henson) who takes a liking to her and a romance begins. This is a fresh look on the inside of a salon where anything can happen.System Requirements:Running Time: 99 Mins.Format: DVD MOVIE Genre: COMEDY Rating: PG-13 UPC: 024543405542 Manufacturer No: 2240554

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Just okay
This was okay. I wouldn't say run out and go get the movie, but I will say it was watchable.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great afternnon/evening entertainment
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Lots of laughter. Although some parts were just unbelievable it is a lot funnier than some other "hair salon" movies.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good
I enjoyed this movie. Some funny parts. But I believe this is basically a copy of the The Barbershop and BeautyShop. We dont need another one.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Good movie
Good movie, inspiring message...sad to say it has that "flaming" character that is always thrown into every barber shop/beauty shop/urban black movie. If you're going to portray people nd their lifestyles at least give them dignity. That was my only complaint. I liked it though and its worth buying cheap.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - It was okay
I love Viveca and the rest of the cast of this movie.. esp Kim Whitley but this was just another Barber Shop, Beauty Shop movie. Yes, the humor was good a good addition to your african american cinema movies.
