I only plan to use my Tom Tom in my car so I have no need for a long battery life since I just keep it plugged in. I love the big screen, its the perfect size. This system is easy to use and the computer interface is good so updates and adding things is easy. Battery life is short so plan to plug it in and use up one of those important 12V plugs in your car. It doesn't show average speed on trip and it doesn't seem to have trip synopsis stats although I'm still figuring out some of the functionality. Basic use is quite simple and menus are clear.
