However this product makes connecting your iPod to a compatible Kenwood head unit very easy and gives you full control on the iPod as well as charging. Will work with iPhone (I have a 3G), but you get a notification on the iPhone screen that it's not compatible and suggests that you turn on Airplane Mode. I hit "Cancel" and it still works fine.
