It was safely packed so nothing could get broken and was easily assembled. I strongly recommend this item for a gift for someone whose trying to get their fishing kit together. Rating: - Excellent starter packagei bought this for my 10 year old nephew's birthday and he loves it. Now his younger brother wants one too and sadly they seem to be gone from Amazon. But unfortunately when I received it, it did not arrive with any spool of fishing line. The product description states that it will arrive with one spool of fishing line and a extra 110yd spool, but I received neither. I emailed the seller which was not amazon, which surprised me, and they simply responded telling me that I should just return the item to them. I thought it was a great gift just don't expect to receive any fishing line at all. Rating: - Great package for the moneyIt works great for a backup rod on my small fishing boat.
