 Rating:  - Better option then a iPOD only versionThis device works well since it has almost full range of the FM dial (however it does not go down to 87.9 or what ever the lowest frequency our car's radio does). The USB port on the back makes it easy to charge the iPod (as long as you have the cable) or any other USB chargeable device (i.e. blackberry, etc...). This allows you to mange the battery on your iPod by not always having it plugged it; which will kill it faster then normal use. The only down side I have seen is cell phones ... Just switch it to international mode by pressing preset for about 15 seconds then U.S. starts blinking then push the plus or minus circular button on the device and it will show international mode then switch it to the very nice and clear 87.9 and there you go. Otherwise, it is really difficult to find a radio station where the transmitter will not be interrupted by lots of intermittent static. Rating: - Works really well so farI bought this a few weeks back, and so far it's been working really well for me. It gets warm when it's on, which is slightly worrying to me, but so far so good. Before trying this, I tried Belkin's iPod specific model that clips into the iPods' connection on the bottom and pulls power from the iPod.
