Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Old memories
It was wonderful looking at old footage of Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. The interview of three of the group members gave me more introspect into their individual experiences, the writers of specific songs and the "days of Motown."

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - OMG POISED,POLISHED,PROFESSIONAL!
I was a little girl when my brother who was older by 7yrs played 'Bad Girl'I became a fan and would try and slow dance with the broom WOW they were so smooth from head to toe which is also the name of a song of theirs.I have played the 'A'&'B'side of every Miracles record I like looking at them with their polished dance moves, the lil lip bitting and OMG when they perform 'Mickeys Monkey'performance perfected!Sorry they had to come to a 'Fork in the Road" cause we were 'Much Better Off'when they were ... Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A HISTORY
Smokey and two of the original Miracles give the history between performances. Enjoyable. But, I wish they could have gotten Claudette to give her views. Performances are great. After all, these are The Miracles.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I have loved this man's work since 1960
I first heard Smokey and the Miracles in 1961. During that summer, my black friends played one of his early albums and I fell in love with "Bad Girl" and "Way Over There." Smokey's talent and song writing were unique then as they are now. It is also good to see old friends are still very good old friends. The interviews (while very Motown patterned) are constructed to let you hear their structured message. However, it is clear that the surviving members (minus Claudette) still have great afection for ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Smoking Smokey
When I looked at this DVD it made me truly understand Smokey Robinson, the man, not just the entertainer. I knew that he was talented, but to hear his partners (The Miracles) talk about what Smokey brought to the group and all that he offered and is still offering is phenominal. It did not have as much entertainment as some of the other DVD's of this sort, but is definitely worth purchasing. I recommend for any real Smokey fan.
