 Rating:  - Fox CollectionThe Great Fox War Movies (Patton - Special Edition / The Longest Day / Tora! Tora! Tora! - Special Edition) I purchased this set and the DVD's (6) Were Damaged. I requested a replacement. The Replacement was also damaged. The problem is the DVD's are in paper inserts in the Book. They are not protected. In the packaging process by FOX ( Not Amazon ) The DVD's get all scratched and will not play. Rating:  - Can't vouch for content, but packaging is really niceAs I said in the title, I can't vouch for the content as this was purchased as a gift for my Dad. However, the packaging is great. I thought Amazon made a mistake and sent a book instead of the DVD package, but it turned out to be BOTH a book and the DVD's (guess I should have read the description better). In any case, I know they are classic movies and this deluxe presentation will make an impressive gift. Rating:  - 3 Great MoviesThese are 3 fantastic WWII movies. First, there's George C. Scott's tour-de-force, Oscar-winning performance as Patton. Second, the Cornelius Ryan all-star classic, The Longest Day. Finally, the definitive Pearl Harbor movie, Tora! Tora! Tora!, which is told from both the American and Japanese points-of-view. You can't go wrong here. Lots of action and limited gore. Rating:  - Not the best deal...Do yourself a favor and buy the special two disk editions of each of these movies separately. You won't get the book, but you'll save almost $50 off the price of this set. Unless of course the book is worth the extra fifty to you... It certainly isn't to me. Rating: - GREAT FOR MOVIE BUFFS and a great gift item.Would like to see more of these book/DVD combos. Browse for similar items by category:
