 Rating:  - Worn out totally in less than 4 yearsDO NOT buy any Genie products! I got mine less than four years ago and the threads in the original carriage are completely gone. My previous Chamberlain lasted more than 20 years. I made the mistake of switching to Genie four years ago. I contacted their service department and they blamed every thing on my garage door (even though this is the same door with Chamberlain) and told me they can sell me a carriage so I can further troubleshoot my problem. Read More Rating: - Juset What I NeededThis is just what I needed. My old carriage was worn out so it was not opening the garage door. I placed my order and received it within three days. It took less than 10 minutes to replace and now the opener works like new. It doesn't come with the grease so I would recommend buying the grease to save a trip to the hardware store. In looking at the carriage for the screw drive, it appeared worn down. Since we really didn't want to purchase a new door opener, we took a chance this was the part that needed replacement.
