 Rating:  - Interesting Idea But...As other reviewers have said, this is too bulky to use for trips to a single country unless you plan to use it as a surge protector, which this allegedly does and is why I bought it. My solution is to slip off the front part, with the plugs, and just take the back and whatever adapter I need. I gave this adapter 5 stars cos it does what it's supposed to, it lets you connect your domestic electric devices into foreign plugs. However, this device does not step down current (i.e. it does not stepdown UK 240v to USA 120v), that its not its purpose, if you want a step down converter look for something else.
