 Rating:  - Pistons not the way to go.At first this looked like the way to go. But after trying it, I found that the pistons have to hit the frame to record progress. This meant a very unplesant noise and jarring. I should have gone with the bike type petals on other machines. They at least have continuing movement with no jarring. Avoid this one. Al S. Rating:  - It was good for a week until it brokeThis machine may be alright for a light or petit person, but it could not hold up to my weight of 180 pounds. I used it for one week and then the bar that supports the resistant shocks broke. Rating:  - Great for the Price I love this piece of equipment. It is very compact and very easy to assmeble as well as break down for storage. Great resistance and a smooth step. Great work out for in the apartment. Rating: - Good Product So FarI got my stepper in the mail about a month ago. So far, it has proven to be a pretty good product. Both me and my husband have used the product without a problem (we weigh 130 and 190 respectively). I love steppers and find that it gives me a similar workout to what I can get at the gym, without traveling. My only complaint is that the steps are on an incline, unlike gym steppers, so sometimes when i finish my workout my feet hurt in odd places. Besides this, it was well worth $120. That's ...
