 Rating:  - Family Tree Maker (Old Version)Just what I needed to begin my research. The weblink application in impressive with the amount of information it returns in response to a query. It's easy to learn and use. Rating:  - Great Seller, But Software Doesn't Work With VISTAI bought this software because Family Tree Maker reviews indicated the latest FTM software (made to run with vista) wasn't nearly as good as the earlier Version 16. FTM does offer a Vista patch that's supposed to make Version 16 work with vista. While the software will run, the function that lets you export a family tree diagram to .pdf format causes the software to crash. FTM tech support was great to work with, but after 5 or 6 attempts, they still haven't found a way to make version 16 run ... I found the new version a seamless conversion from my old version. This is one of the few software products [of any kind] that didn't disappoint me.
