There are certainly moments when The Christmas Shoes lays on the sentiment woefully thick, but you'd have to be an ogre not to be touched when Maggie and her husband have one last dance.  Rating:  - Christmas ShoesChristmas Shoes is one of the most moving stories of a modern Christmas. I am so moved by it that I bought the movie to watch every year. This year our church choir did a production of the play. I went to see another production of the same play, watched the movie with some friends, read the book, and read the other two books in the series about the little boy in the first book.
