Editorial Review:

Description:
Christopher Eccleston's Doctor is wise and funny, cheeky and brave. An alien and a loner, his detached logic gives him a vital edge when the world's in danger. But when it comes to human relationships, he can be found wanting. That's why he needs Rose. From the moment they meet, the Doctor and Rose understand and complement each other. As they travel together through time, encountering new adversaries, the Doctor shows her things beyond imagination. Includes Aliens of London, World War Three and Dalek.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Doctor Who
If you don't want or can't afford the whole first season, the smaller volumes are great. These are my favorite episodes & it's nice seeing them without commercial interuption, plus you can actually erad the credits!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - good series
Great way to buy the whole season, wish season 2 was available like this.

The New Series looks and sounds great. Christopher eccleston makes a great Doctor, and Billie Piper is a surprisingly great fit for his Doc. 'tis a shame Eccly only wanted to do ... Read More

Dr. Who is Forty (actually he's 900, but like the Doctor, the show had been around in one form or another since 1964). During March and through June the BBC celebrated by bringing the show back to television for its 27th season (or as it is more consistently called: SEASON ONE)in a glossy, fast-paced enough to satisfy contemporary audiences, while still conscious of its roots. This SET contains all 13 season one episodess for the 2005 rebirth of the longest running sci-fi series in TV history. The ... Read More
