I received my set in great condition with no missing parts. The set is plastic, but it is not at all flimsy. You can't pound them into the ground with a hammer, but they go in with little trouble. Unfortunately, 1 pagoda light and one spotlight arrived either broken or missing a part. Also, the capacity of the transformer/timer is at the maximum of the sum of the wattage of the bulbs and the wire that comes with it is adequate but not heavy duty. I purchased a separate 300W transformer/timer and had my installer purchase heavy duty wire. Having package pricing with upgrades would be a nice feature.
