Editorial Review: Product Description: If you use your Canon Pixma printer for photo printing, you might have observed that the color cartridges seem to drain fast. The engineers at Canon are aware of this and have helped resolve the problem. Instead of requiring a complete ink cartridge replacement, the cartridge was designed as 2 modules: cartridge transfer mechanism and an ink tank. This is the ink tank.  Rating:  - Canon CLI-8 InkLove the Canon Pro9000 printer and inks. The photos I print look just as good if not better than those from a "professional" printing lab. Rating:  - Getting out those last drops...These are well made cartridges and I'm very happy with the photo quality. Besides the high price and fairly small quantity, the only thing that bugs me is that the sensor says it's empty when the main reservoir is empty. There's still at least a couple 8X10s left in the absorbent material above the nozzle. Someone once explained how you can use a piece of electrical tape to "fool" the sensor and get out that precious remaining ink. But I haven't been able to do it on my Pro9000. I'd be grateful ... Rating: - it worksbeat the high price of canon ink cartridges with this generic ... you have to take the chip out of the cartridge that you are replacing but it's easy to do Rating: - The bestCanon makes the best ink and the best consumer printers. The printers are terrific and reasonably priced. THe ink is, while a bit pricey, head over hills above the competition in every way. Generic inks ARE NOT WORTH IT!!!! They really aren't!
