I love these Pyrex bowls so much that I have purchased them in five different sizes. I have never used my microwave to cook much in the past. Just really reaheat in it. Read More Rating: - leaky lids I have purchased 4 of these oval containers and they all leak when liquids are put in them. I have round and rectagular sizes and love them because they do not have the same problem. It is just the 3 2/3 cup oval that has a lid that does not fit correctly. They were this way right out of the box. Rating: - Great for leftovers This dish is great for leftovers. Perfect size for a meal and can go in the microwave. Rating: - Very useful for all stages of food prep, service and storage. These bowls are very useful products. They are great for the microwave, oven and freezer and are attractive enough for serving as well. With the tab at the top of the plastic lid, you can even vent the covered bowls when microwaving, and as long as there's enough air at the top, no plastic will touch the food. Since the bowls themselves are made of pyrex glass, you don't have to worry about any harmful plastic chemicals leaching into your food. Highly recommended. Rating: - nice dish, but very expensive This is a great dish for leftovers. The glass is thick and sturdy. The steam vent works great. The $10 price, however, is very expensive.
