As a counselor, I was looking for a film to share with a client in the hope that it would help him develop some insight. I was basically familiar with LaPaglia's work in "Without A Trace," where the character is a nurturing, grumpy, teddy bear sort of person, so I did wonder how he might translate into an abuser.
