Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Clear Quakehold / Museum Gel is the ultimate product for securing your see-through glass and crystal items. Simply form small balls and place evenly underneath the object and press into place. Clear Gel takes 30-60 minutes for a complete adherence and is completely removable and reusable. Protection is at its best not only from earthquakes but playful children, accidental bumping, housekeepers and cats. Clear Gel is an outstanding product for securing see-through glass and crystal objects. Perfect on glass shelves... it's so clear you won't even know it's underneath. The gel qualities include: A clear bond that holds tight, instant removal, non-toxic, clean to the touch and reusable too. A little goes a long way! One jar can secure 300 items!

Amazon.com Product Description:
Depending on where you live-and depending on where you keep the crystal-you may be in need of Quakehold!'s museum gel. Here's how it works: simply pinch off a bit of the non-toxic gel and adhere it to the bottom of the object you want to secure, then place it on the shelf. The gel will hold it fast in the event of an earthquake. If you ever want to move the object to another location, simply twist and pull to separate it from the shelf. The gell is fully reusable, and it doesn't leave marks on wood or other materials.--Josh Dettweiler

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Museum gell
This is a very great product, have used it for many things, that you do not want to get broke or stolen.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Just another gel
The gel did not hold a ball in place -- it melted and the ball rolled off the shelf

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Works like a charm
Works great..no more "clattering" when walking past the curio cabinet. One jar will last a loooong time.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - For Glass Shelves and Smooth Surfaces Only
All you need is a pinch. Works well with glass shelves. Clear and invisible so you wont see it even if you look from the bottom. For what its intended purpose, it is 5 stars. Other than that, it is limited in uses.

You cannot use it to stick posters or practically anything on the wall as it drips. It is not as sticky as other products like "Quakehold", poster putties, etc. It will also not work on wooden surfaces. Anything that has pores and grains will not work.
