Having said that, the size, shape and design means that you are putting a lot of strain of the bag, which means that it wears out. I fly about 100,000 miles a year, and also take my luggage on 20-30 car trips. Basically I travel 40-45 weeks. These bags last me about 2 years. It easily held two motorcycle jackets, two pairs of pants, a helmet, several pairs of shoes and boots, and still had room for other things. The zippered bottom compartment was good for the boots and shoes to keep them away from the clothes. The wheels made it very easy to get through the airport with this very heavily packed bag.
