Editorial Review: Amazon.com: A romantic comedy with an absurdist edge, Just a Kiss begins when Dag (Ron Eldard), a commercial director, sleeps with his best friend's girlfriend, Rebecca (Marley Shelton), a dancer, while she's touring in Europe. When their infidelity is revealed back home in New York City, it sets off a cascade of people falling into bed together, including Dag's girlfriend Halley (Kyra Sedgwick), Rebecca's other lover Andre (Taye Diggs), and a waitress at a bowling alley (Marisa Tomei) with strange obsessions and loose morals. Just a Kiss slips to and fro in time and veers in and out of rotoscope animation, but even the live sequences have a cartoonish edge; it's hard to care about what happens to these caricatures, no matter how tight their pants or how skimpy their tank tops. Also featuring Patrick Breen (who wrote the screenplay) and Sarita Choudhury. --Bret Fetzer Average Rating:

In these situations, they can write themselves work. And with some talent, some and a little luck, these unemployable actors are never unemployed again. Nervous nebbish actor Patrick Breen wrote this experimental WAY Off-Off broadway (so far off, I believe it didn't play in halfway houses) play "Just A Kiss" about how one single event can completely ... I'm not saying the acting was even that great (quite frankly, it wasn't) But if you're looking for an EXCELLENT batch of dry humor and some funny incidences within a film that actually should've gotten praise for it's LACK of emotion, this is for you. I found it quite hilarious the first time around, and plan to buy in on DVD, if for nothing else than the occasionally laugh. Rating: - Just a Bad Movie the alternative title!Okay, I just finished watching this movie. It began nice and dark which I love with a few twisted characters but it never got good. It went from twisted to sick and finally just pointless. I would recommend seeing this with a group of people lots of alcohol and no regrets about losing an hour and a half or so of your life. Enjoy. Rating: - better get drunkthis is a weird movie its funny cause its so random, weird, and stupid. if you're in the mood for something like this ... or if you're drunk .... or if you're just as weird ...
