![]() Rating: - Unique and useful from Microsoft!First of all, I am not a big fan of most microsoft software. I do like their operating systems but I feel that almost every other microsoft program has a superior and cheaper competitive software package. However, they have really done something with One Note. One Note is a program designed for taking notes. I think microsoft had students in mind because as a student, I got a copy for free. So, I thought I would try it. I was excited at the prospect of being able to export my notes into Microsoft Word. However, Microsoft does not emphasize is the fact that you have to buy Word 2003 to make it work. You can transfer a note from one section to another, but you cannot transfer it to a specific location within the section in a single operation. To transfer between folders, ... Read More Rating: - Simpleminded approach to notetakingMS OneNote 2003 program is not completely ready for use on the tablet. Even though the Journal notetaking software that comes with Windows XP Tablet Edition is simple, it is better than OneNote. OneNote tries to organize notes through a series of vertical and horizontal tabs, which would be a great idea if it didn't get in the way. Instead of helping, these tabs actually make notes difficult to retrieve. Also, while tabs may be useful for traditional notebooks, the usefulness ... Read More Browse for similar items by category:
