It engages him in a very fun way, and teaches him age appropriate math skills. Importantly, it can be stopped at any point, and you can resume where you left off. After just one day, she was no longer self-identifying as a "math dummy" -- and now she's one of the top scorers in her class. Kids have to solve math problems, as well as navigate around the city to win the game by rebuilding Spectacle City. The reward is getting to build your own arcade with games. My daughter has been struggling with math for a while now and I have tried many differnt books, games, toys, flash cards and much more. But with Math Missions she actually asks if she can play it and will do so for hours! Her math has greatly improved because she is so excited to build her arcade bigger and better.
