 Rating:  - Product review Ames hose reelI ordered 4 hose reels from Amazon. All four arrived in a timely manner. My complaint is that of the 4 that arrived only one had a complete set of parts for assembly. I took parts off an existing reel I was replacing in order to complete the 3 new reels that were incomplete. The quality control in regards to the completeness was very poor. Otherwise good product. Rating:  - hose reelGreat product - best design of wall mounted garden hose reels. I purchased two - for front and rear of house - to replace reels of the same design that finally gave out after 8 or 10 years of satisfactory service. Rating:  - Ames Hose ReelI had one of these for years, and was very pleased with it until it started leaking. The new one from Amazon also leaked. I returned it to Amazon a recieved a full no hastle refund. I called Ames and was sent a new part free. After installing it, I still had the same problem. There's something wrong with the O-Ring design in this reel. Not recommended. Rating:  - Bummed OutI had one for about 12 years. It worked very well until the plastic broke where it bolts to the wall. I ordered a new one on line put it together and noticed it was made a little cheaper. It didn't seem to be made as strong as the one I had before. I have had the new one about five months. I came home one day and noticed it was hanging down off the front of the house. The plastic was split and broken in two of the bolt holes ... Read More Rating: - I'm Now Buying a Metal Hose ReelI've had two of these Ames Hose King units. The first lasted 10+ years and I was very satisfied, so I bought another. The second lasted less than two years and the right side upper bolt area totally cracked away. The same hose was used on both units, so there was no weight change. I'm disappointed. The part to fix this one is not available from Ames. So I've ordered a metal reel, also made by Ames.
