When sterilization is complete, the plastic-coated jar lifter clutches jars tightly in its tongs and lifts them out of hot water without risk of slippage or burning while the magnetized vinyl-coated jar lifter safely removes the lids. The kit also includes a heavy-duty stainless-steel ladle for spooning stewed fruits or vegetables into the stainless-steel wide-mouth funnel and siphoning it into your jars.  Rating:  - If it weren't for the shipping I would love it.I love the item but it took a month to get it. The tomatoes were done before it came in the mail. It started in Michigan went to Maryland and back to Michigan before I got it. Rating:  - Canning Rack RustedThe Fagor "made in China" canning rack rusted the second time I used it and left a rust stain in the bottom of my Fagor Canner. While, I did get the stain out, it looks like the rack is of very poor quality and I do not recommend it. Rating:  - Good quality!I was impressed by the quality of this kit!
