Not only are the folks at Australian Stitches friendly and personable, they cover the entire range of sewing from A to Z. They offer hints on sewing with specialty fabrics, new pattern reviews - including all the independent pattern lines, alteration instructions with the most clear and easy-to-understand diagrams in print, fashion forecats and suggestions for how each age and shape of woman can adapt them to her personal needs, showcase vintage, new, and award-winning student clothing designers, ... Too soon to evaluate or I'd probably give 5 stars. As a garment sewer and doing lots of research and having recommendations, I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it. I received a month or two earlier than promised, coming from Australia, that's great.

And much too hard to find in the U.S. The price for this subscription, though, is a bit steep compared to pricing in stores when it IS available here. The Aussies are totally sensible & practical in their approach to garment sewing & style.
