 Rating:  - "I'll never tell..."Don't Say a Word is a confusing suspense film. There is absolutely no logic from the criminals perspective or anyone else for that matter. Michael Douglas looks so bored in this, his weakest performance ever. Brittany Murphy is the only thing captivating about this film, that girl is a rare talent. I cannot recommend this film because the plot is pointless, skip this one! Rating:  - A Nice litte thrillerDon't Say A Word is a very good thriller. Michael Douglas in the lead plays a father who has to ge ta number from a crazed mental patient to help save his daughter. The film has very good acting and cinematography and the always sexy Jennifer Esposito. Rating:  - PREDICTABLE? I think not!If you were able to predict the ending of this one, you're a better man than I. This movie was spooky and chilling! Brittany Murphy plays her role very well and Michael Douglas is "on form". (Which is to say he gives it his all as always.) It's an intense story and one you have to see to believe. The line is given with such eerie believability.... "I'll never telllllll......" Rating: - Great Thriller!This movie is by itself a great thriller and well worth the viewing. While some have complained about 'unoriginality' I have to say, come on, originality? After past half century of movie making most themes have been heavily used the only thing that counts is making it fresh, making us want to watch it, and this movie did that. It gave us new twists, interesting scenes, and great acting notably by Sean Bean who was a brilliant villian and overall priceless addition to the movie. I think it was the same group of incompetents that Harrison Ford had to deal with in Firewall. There were a few twists here, but they were all forced and predictable. This film kept a pretty good pace and was somewhat entertaining, but it has all been done before, over and over again in these formula thrillers that studios churn out like TV episodes.
