Amazon.com Review: Libbey's Impressions glasses have definite drink appeal. Let's start with their girth. The glasses have ample openings, so ice snuggles down nicely to provide lots of chilling surface for drinks. When it's time to give them a wash, a hand, sponge, or dishtowel fits easily, which is important when you want to present sparkling clean glassware to your guests; the glasses also do well in the dishwasher. Their heavy bottoms have a nice heft so they won't tip easily and give the impression that they were handblown. Four rounded depressions just above the base fit fingertips and make these glasses comfortable to hold. The two sizes in this dandy set accommodate just about any liquid out there: you can offer lucky guests everything from highballs to lemonade to bloody marys.  Rating:  - Glass looks sturdyMost of the glasses came in-tact but two of them were broken. I'll be calling Amazon and see if they can ship two more glasses or I may have to return them and wait for new ones. The smaller glasses seem a bit more sturdier than the bigger ones.. Unfortunately, like other reviewers, I have only had them for a month or two and many of them have broken. The shorter 8oz glasses seem to hold up better than the 16 ounce ones. Read More Rating:  - An easy repairHaving seen them in a NYC shop [at twice the price as single pieces] they were just as I expected: an interesting shape that's non-tippy & fits the hand well with a good weight in the clear glass that I like. A slight but sharp chip on the lip of one of the sixteen was easily smoothed out with some silicon-carbide sandpaper - a very handy tool-kit addition for the next time you're in a good hardware store. When my brother-in-law asked for some nice glasses for Christmas, I could not think of a better set to get him. The price was good, the quality was great and the service was prompt. Rating: - Durable and StylishI've had these glasses for almost 5 months now. They look great, and they're quite durable. I wash them in the dishwasher, and take No special precautions with them.
