Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Worked beyond all expectations! This fly trap worked really really well. After a few weeks there wasn't any more room for flies but it seemed to take care of the problem because I didn't feel the need to put up another trap. The smell is bad but only if you are close to it, so certainly only for outdoors. I highly recommend this product if you have any issues with flies. Rating: - It stinks This product literally stinks. I was almost killed by the smell before the flies, so I have to throw it away. The shipping and the service are good, otherwise. Rating: - Be careful if you have pets! I bought one of these and hung it on a poll w/a hook about 4 feet up in the air. It does kill flys but... My cats spotted the flys inside the bag and jumped up and bit (they are clawless in front)the bag trying to get to the flys. They eventually bit through the bag while we were out. Luckily I saw the bag was leaking shortly after this happened and the cats were O.K. but this could be a concern. Hang 'em high! Rating: - Fly-Be-Gone I have a vegetable garden and a flock of chickens. I get a lot of flies. This is a very effective way of cutting down the fly population. It's easy to set up. Just fill to the line with water. A bag filled with some sort of organism, disolves and mixes with the water. In about 3 to 4 days it ferments adequately and the flies start coming. Fly Trap We never had a Fly problem until After we got the dog... We clean the dog waste in the yard most every day but the flies are excessive. Opening the patio door for a BBQ would bring 10-20 Flies in the house. These Fly Traps are Fantastic! With 2 Fly Traps in the yard, the problem is cured.
