these little nippers get into place big shears can't! They're great for deadheading or topping off plants so you get bushier growth. i bought my last pair about 10 years ago and they're still doing remarkably well for their age.

This is perfect for deadheading roses and other spent blossoms. Generally easy to use, but the locking mechanism can be annoying, especially with gloves on.

When I've had a garden in the past, my Gerber Daisies and Geraniums did not bloom as much as other people's did. I believed that it was a function of better soil, light, food, etc. I now know that it was because I did not trim the spent flowers aggressively.
