At the peak, we have from 75 to 100 hummers all day long, We use 8 feeders this size that are replenished daily. 6 feeding ports are not enough. I bored another hole between each of the existing ones, making 12 stations instead of 6. The "hanger cap" has a tendency to come lose, so I put some plumber's teflon tape around the glass screw area before screwing the hanger on. This keeps it more secure. ... I have two other Hummmingbird feeders, and have discovered they seem to prefer this one. Rating: - Hummingbirds love this feeder!We have over 20 hummingbirds feeding off these and I had to replace one that just wore out and ended up buying two because of the great price! I've used other feeders and the plastic just doesn't hold up as well as the solid glass of this product. The little flowers tend to break off, but they can be replaced (sold separately).
