Editorial Review:

Amazon.com:
When a malevolent race of Moonwomen try to put the big hurt on Earth, it's up to (take a deep breath) Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra, Anguilas, Minya, Manda, Baragon, and Spigas to resist their evil mind control and make the world safe for monster (and human) kind! Long unavailable on video, Destroy All Monsters is the crowning achievement of the Japanese monster genre, with wall-to-wall action, cheesily magnificent special effects, and a final nine-to-one battle royale (against the awesome three-headed dragon known to fans as King Ghidorah) that's guaranteed to get even the most passive viewer noisily bopping around the room. A badly dubbed, logic-defying, supremely gonzo blast, presented in a widescreen format that allows the watcher to see every single rubber scale. The original title for this quintessential creature bash translates as Godzilla Electric Battle Masterpiece, which just about says it all. --Andrew Wright

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A blast from myt past
Godzilla Destroy all monsters is one of my favorite movies. Granted he always has been and always will be. But if you dont mind the cheesy fights then this is the movie for you. :)

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Allways a good laugh
All godzilla pictures are good for a laugh, except the one made in the US, they were more serious about it.
I remember growing up on The Japanese ones, funny, they seemed better back then, but I supposed we have became more suffisticated with the modern abilities. Godzilla pictures are still good for a good laugh.
Does anyone know why Godzilla 1985 is not available to DVD.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Godzilla don't destroy him...................
I so glad this made a dvd release. Infact I'm glad when any Godzilla films makes it on dvd. This film is a classic, you get all the monsters you could think of. The effect are excellent for its time. I don't care about any extras, just glad to see the movie on dvd. The sad thing is, you don't see munch Godzilla films on tv anymore. Today on tv you get a bunch of useless crap.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - You guys must be kidding, right?
Some time ago, another distributor released this same disc - IN SCOPE. It was non-anamorphic, but at least it was widescreen.

And now, to celebrate it's 50th Anniversary, it gets another release... IN FULL SCREEN?

And you DARE to give this garbage five stars?

THIS is the version to get. Not perfect, but at least it's widescreen: Destroy All Monsters

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - not worth the cash
Dont get me wrong, it is a ggod movie. However this set is the dubed version DVD no menues and a music CD. Basicly you will be paying extra for the CD because the movie is 10 dollars.
